and finally someone asking me for batfam rec because 60% of what i read is batfam

they’re not all necessary to read, hell, i havent read them all myself. i recommend reading them in this order, but you can go wild if you want and leave some out. bold are my favourites; * = new 52

• Batman: Year One (two, three): just bruce wayne being batman, taking the mantle, his first (second, third) year etc
• Robin: Year One: following dick grayson in his first year as the first robin
• Batgirl: Year One: barbara gordon as the first batgirl in her first year
• Nightwing: Year One: dick grayson being nightwing 
  
• The Killing Joke: joker being crazy like always, also shooting around people (aka barbara)
  
• Huntress: Year One: helena bertinelli as huntress
• (Birds of Prey (v1-4*)): after babs is paralyzed she becomes oracle and is part of the cool all-female superhero team
• A Death in the Family: the death of jason todd, the second robin
• Robin v1 (2-4): tim drake as the third robin, in robin #126-128 stephanie brown becomes robin btw
• Batgirl v1  (v2): cassandra cain as the second batgirl
• Batman and Son: introducing damian wayne as bruce’ son
• Red Hood: The Lost Days: jason coming out of his grave, his backstory with talia and how he becomes red hood
  
• Batman: Under the Hood: a new villain (red hood) is in town
  
• Batman: Battle for the Cowl: after bruce’ death theres uh a battle for the cowl. 
• Batman and Robin: dick being batman after bruce death and damian being his robin :3
  
• Streets of Gotham: ^^^
• Red Robin: after bruce death, damian is robin and tim becomes red robin
• Gotham City Sirens: just the cool ladies being awesome, catwoman & harley quinn & poison ivy
• Batgirl v3: stephanie brown being the third batgirl after cass
• Gates of Gotham: just a cute team-up of the batfam with cass, dami, tim & dick
• (Li'l Gotham): this is just too cute to not include
• Batwoman*: kate kane as batwoman, sometimes we see bette kane as hawkfire
• Batman and Robin*: bruce and damian being batman & robin
• (RHATO*): jason teaming up with roy harper & koriand'r
• Harley Quinn*: its just cute ok, harley quinn being a cutie patootie
• others: nightwing*, batgirl*, batman*, batwing*, batman inc.*, batman eternal*. but for the love of god dont read teen titans*
• ssh: i havent included jasons robin years but if someone has a good comic which has him, you can let me know!
